what kind of car do you have? The LS1 camaro has a shittier radiator compared to the LT1. SLP markets this LT1 radiator as a "heavy duty" radiator for the LS1.

LT1 would fix your issues.

Any particular brand of replacement lt1 radiator better than another? Autozone shows four - Transpro, Spi, Visteon, and Delphi. The Transpro and Spi each have a limited lifetime warranty, while the Visteon and Delphi only have a 3 month warranty.

If your cooling system is working properly, the stock replacement can't be beat. My 436 stroker never makes it past the 155* mark in 95* south Florida heat no matter how hard I drive it, and it'll only get close to the 220* mark with my A/C blasting in traffic, never past the 220* mark.

Get a OEM replacement at Advance Auto.

Stay away from stock ones! 220* is too damn hot to play with. Hot temp's and playing around = detonation.

The 1st time my 427 went a hair past the 210* mark I ripped it out and bought a Be Cool from a buddy for a great deal. Too good to pass up, and it always runs below the 210* mark in the summer.

If money is not an issue, there's a crap load of aftermarket ones out there to choose from.

If money is tight get the LT1 from SLP like others have mentioned, just stay away from stock unless you have to.

Peace,
Craig.
