Default How much does XR-1's help on duals?

First off I did a search and no luck yet (Timed out)

How much do the Borla XR-1's tone down, when matched up with true duals?
I believe I read that they do but I'm sure not how much, lol. Anyone have experinece with them please let me know.

Thanks Rob.

I have XR-1's with my duals and I have to say it is MUCH quieter at idle, cruise and part throttle(dumped, they're now under the axle) compared to some of my buddies bullet muffler systems. @ WOT they scream like a bullet but with a more refined tone.

Now that I've ran them under the axle, I can barely even hear my exhaust. I always ask people if it sounds good because I can't hear **** haha. @ WOT again is a different story as it just SCREAMS. That part I can hear just fine

Edit - Here's a vid of when I had my XR-1's dumped. It was filmed in a car with true duals and bullets. You can't even hear my car. Loud doesn't always mean fast

Sorry for the long delay, heres the pictures:

Everything is REALLY dirty, so I apologize. The car has been sitting for some time while my new combo was put together and installed.

My setup is exactly this- Jethot longtubes, into a 2.5" xpipe, into 2.5" tubing out back into Borla XR1 mufflers. Bullet style, Part number- 40085.

There is NO drone or rasp, its pretty refined actually. I can carry on conversations inside w/o the exhaust being a hassle. Wide open throttle is loud, but i dont think its an obnoxious loud. It pretty deep and bassy, and racey sounding at idle. Probably about as loud as the Loudmouth at idle, but in a different way. I really love the way it sounds! I'd recommend this setup all day!
