Appearance & Detailing - T/A Corner lights - Amber?

Anyone ever done or thought of doing their blinker/corner lights in amber? Like removing the lens from the housing and painting it amber and running a white light bulb behind it? I just got 2 new corner light housings installed on my TA and it just looks on to me having them clear when the car is off. I have an extra corner housing that is practically brand new, I bought it last summer but the chrome inside of it started to deteriorate and I need a new driver side one so I ordered both. Anyway i'm thinkin about getting some kind of amber tint spray or something and coloring the lens that way and see how it looks. Anyone done this?

I think the amber lights look better, but try it, never know how it will look, if you like it post up....
