Default What is required.... going from aluminum block to iron...

What changes need to be done??? I was told something about the alternator bracket.... anything else???.... Its in a C5 vette....

Which block you going with ? Is it the newer LSX ? SHould not have any issues changing out your accessories .

there is a boss that isn't tapped but i just put mine on and didn't drill and tap mine. no issues whatsoever but it is a good idea to do it.

hes talking about for mounting the alternator. i didnt do it either, two bolts holding it on and no problems as of yet. i had to stretch my negative cable on the passenger side off the battery. the spot it was supposed to go was a little further towards the front.

just use the flexplate off the engine you have now and that should be all.
