LS6, Weiand or BBK stock TB works fine, but you can always use a ported tb. don't go with FAST unless your planning on nitrous or FI. heat soak is bullshit and there's alot of heresay about it but i've never seen proof.

I concur about the LS6 part and a stock TB.

The heat soak argument is not BS. Think about it buddy. Its a metal intake, it gets hot, period. Even if the car is moving. Would you argue that our heads get heat soak? No you wouldnt, and guess what, those are aluminum intakes, same stuff the heads are made from. Granted its role in an engine is not the same, so it wouldnt reach the same temps as the heads, but it will get hotter than a stock plastic LS6 or a FAST intake.

Im pretty sure you can get a LS6 for cheaper than any of the others with the same gains. Unless your going to be pushing more than 450 horses i would stick with a LS6 and port your stock TB. If your going larger that 450 then get a better intake and TB

Yep yep yep...best bang for the buck there. And will support quite a bit of power in the future if you should venture that way.
