Default Ported Fast 90/90 Dyno results...

Ok, here are the numbers I put down this morning after installing a Tony Mamo ported FAST 90/90 and retune, I bought (already ported) from a guy down in Houston back in April. All I did was take off the top shell and paint it gloss black.

I went from an Ls6 intake with stock TB that I installed in Jan of 2007 to this 90/90. no other work was done other than just a simple retune. I am waiting for the doubters and none believers to chime in, but the proof is below.

1st run, untuned...ignore the lower numbers, that was the last recorded run they had on file (pre Ls6 intake install and retune that gave me my old numbers of 409/386), and i have that dyno sheet should any of the self proclaimed "Ls1 know-it-all" gods want to see it...

Final retune results...

Engine Bay Pic to show the painted intake...

Mods: SLP Lid, SLP Bellow, FAST 90/90, Comp224, Patriot Stage II Ls6 "Style" heads (59cc), LT's/ORY, SLP LM...

Those are sick numbers for a 224 cam. I am seriously thinking about that cam still. Congrats!

This is what I want to read. I've got a TR224 cam, heads, headers, and with the prior macs, I put down 427hp/401tq with a shitty ypipe. I would guess I'm probably around 435/410 now with qtps and a better ypipe. I'm planning a ported FAST 90/90 at the end of the month so I'd love to make the same gains from the combo. It would be nice to see 15/15 from it to be around 450/420, but if I see you're 30hp gain, that would be phenominal.

Here's my dyno sheet comparing stock valved heads and 216 cam to the current ported polished heads and tr224 cam.

After seeing that, I'm definitly saving money for next year mods: ported fast 90 and ported 90mm TB!!!.. and scorpions rockers!!

Grats on the numbers, I see its really worth the money!!!

Question SSwt00SS; Is that a special smooth bellow to fit the 90TB or the stock size is ok? thanks, maybe a stupid Q but nobody ever told about that..

The slp smooth bellow can be stretched to fit the 90mm TB.

she drives so freakin nice, just power everywhere, and such a good sound.

how did your car do. you put down some nice numbers on your run as i was leaving. did they get your tune locked down so your car is more driver friendly? what about the NOS? what were your numbers?

Thanks for the answer guys. I figured my smooth bellow would fit but its already a bit stretched and looks tired...

How much did you pay for the intake and did you install it yourself SSwt00SS?
.. is everything matching perfect on top like if it is an LS6 intake or there is some work to make it fit?

I'm planning to do the work myself next summer...

Damn, makes me want to replace my ls6 intake, I made 460 to the wheel without the fast, ms3 cam, tsp stage 1 ls6 heads, kooks with kooks lt's. Wonder if with the intake and elec water pump I can break 480 to the wheel.
