I got them for free..they are Circle Track Slicks..pretty soft compound..little more in the sidewall than a Drag Slick.
Thinkin about runnin them and see what they do..
Sizes are 26.5x10R15, and 27.0x10R15.

Worst mistake ever. I think people give away free circle-track slicks to drag racers just to laugh.
I too came upon a set of circle track wheels and tires for free from a shop teacher at my old highschool. I gave them a whirl. No lie -- best I could do was a 2.7 60'
My advice: Don't run them low, at all. Atleast 22-25psi. Heat them up really good. Even then I can't make you any promises.

Part of the problem with them is how old are they. It won't hurt to try them though.
My Mickey drag radials are two years old and they are shot. I almost lost to a harley today from a roll. I killed the tires from a twenty five mile roll. I must also say the tires still have tread just the compound isn't as sticky as it was or I'm making more power.

One other thing you need to consider is the gearing your running. If you have an A4 then your gearing could be as bad as 2.73 stock. With tires that tall you will bog real bad. With 4.10's you may not do to bad.

I got them for free..won't hurt to run them to see how they do. I have 3.73's in the back with a 3600 Stall, I should be able to get goin with that if they hook.
If they are ****..then the Car will look good for pics with them on..and I'll get some Chlorine and do one hell of a smoke show..

my advice would be put them on, but dont go down to the drag strip with them unless you are completely confident in them. i dont know how hard your 1-2 shifts are, but with tires that dont act right you could be in the wall real quick. hate you see you lose it after all this hard work. i would just put them on and do donuts and burnouts.

Honestly I wouldnt risk it. With a car that powerful and tires that wont get sticky, the 1-2 shift could put you sideways if they break loose.
Why risk banging up the car when its not even dialed in yet!
