Default Took car to track for 1st time

I just recently bought my first lt1 car....a 94 z28 A4. It is all stock from from the aircleaner to the muffler and has 205k miles on it. It ran a 14.43 @96mph. I was thinking that is about right for a stock car with that many miles on it what do yall think?

that, or maybe a rebuild with that many miles. depending on how the car was taken care of, you could be on borrowed time and modding is only gonna make things worse.

Sounds right for those miles and bone stock and being new to the car. Get some DR'S and more time behind the wheel and you should be able to drop the times a bit. Once you start modding it is addictive!

Yeah that sounds right I have a 94 formula LT1 with the car completely stock I ran a 14.476 at 98 mph and a 2.21 60' time . With the 2.73 posi rearend. Then I put a Hooker 3" catback exhaust, Cold Air Intake, and did the free mods to it. and with new street tires I ran a 14.008 @ 101.95 mph. Not bad for 500.00 worth of stuff you know. I also got a little better gas mileage w/ the CAI. But the exhaust took it back to where it was before. Either way good luck with the car. And yeah modding is verrrrrry addictive. Before too long you'll be an LS1Tech car junkie
