does anyone deck or mill the 6.0L block?

Default does anyone deck or mill the 6.0L block?

i thought about taking .001-002 off the deck is this standard practice for these blocks?

Erik at HK Enterprises, one of the premier 408 builders, decks all his blocks from what I understand.

.001"? why don't you just dust it off?

typically deck .005" on a seasoned block.

If you buy a surplus 6.0 block sometimes the decks are off by more than .020 so you have to. Other than that they are the same as any block so yes you can mill them if you need to or have to.

Yes we usually do if we end up with them sometimes. If it's not bad just take .010-.015 off the pistons although sometimes you cant do that.
