Default Went to the track

I ran 8.5 in the 1/8th. What do you think i could run in the quarter mile?? That was my best time but the rest was all over the place as i started breaking loose alot. This was the first time i ever ran a straight drive at the strip. I had mt street drag radials but I was kind of disappointed with them.
It has not been lowered. I have Moog springs UMI Panhard Bar,lower control arms and relocation brackets. Also have bbk throttle bottle, granitelli mass airflow, msd ignition, msd opti, walbro fuel pump, electric water pump, umi subframe connectors, hurst shifter,lt4 knock module and 125 shot of nitrous. I was kind of disappointed with my time but the car does have 170,000 miles on it.

That should be good for very low 13's or high 12's. My car would do 13.3 with a 8.7. What was your 60ft?

to get 1/4 mile times multiply your 1/8 mile by 1.55 so you would run about an 13.1 or 13.2, rough estimate though, especially with traction problems

We did play with the tire pressure went from 35 to 30 to 25. The more i tried to heat them up the more they broke loose. I guesse a lot of it had to do with an inexperienced driver in a six speed. I have had a 71 nova in the past that was an automatic and could put down real consistant times.

You got to heat them Tires up good..I ran mine last week and spun the hell out of the 60ft..and that was a 1/4 throttle launch just to get them to bite. I warmed them up good and got them to bite..still got a 1.97 60'..

My car spinning 1 and 2, 6-speed. Ran a 12.962 @110.09 1/4 and 8.466 @87.29 1/8 with a 2.133 60ft. That was on street tires. I have M/T DRs, but didnt use them due to chance of rain. M/T hook really well if you can get them hot. My best results were doing a dry burnout. So you should be high, high 12s or really low 13s.

That run was in 93.3 deg heat, 2915 DA and 42% Hum
