Help
I have a 1998 Trans Am Automatic and it just started acting funny when a put a new air lid on it. My car in 1st gear is fine then when it hits 2nd gear it bogs down then after it gets out of 2nd gear its fine in 3rd and 4th. Any idea what is wrong with it?? Torque converter maybe?? Also my cats are bad on my car so im going w/ hooker long tube super comp headers, then x pipe then sweet thunder mufflers but before i put this lid on everything ran fine but as soon as i put it on 2 gear bogs down??

Well first step I would either get new cats. Or even cheaper just have a shop fab up some off road pipes and install them. If it fixes your problem then you are only out about $60 for the off road pipes. Then get the cats tuned out or get some O2 sims.
