Blowing smoke after LT install?
I just installed some LT's with no egr and a catless y pipe on the car and every once in a while ill get some smoke out the exhaust. This happen to anyone else? Could i just need a tune or what?

its probably burning the coating off the headers and any oil, even from your hands, that got on the pipes. I bet you were scared to death when it smoked like a bitch at start up..
Mine stalled first, then sounded like it had a cam until the computer made sense of things.

Yeah, it's burning off all the grease and oil that got on the metal during installation. After my header install, smoke started POURING out of the engine bay, probably didn't unse enough rags

get it tuned its probably running really rich.. which is expected but maybe your a/f ratio was off before install..
are you seeing white smoke out of the pipes?

Yeah it only does it after i get on it hard and it goes away after i turn the car off and let it sit. I gotta deal with some exhaust leaks and install the new Weind intake i got before tuning it.
