New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Do the 10 spoke SS wheels have BLACK plastic overs on the lug nuts or is that the act

I was going to take off one of my wheels and I popped out the center cap and I see the lug nuts are black and appear to be plastic. I did not want to break them if the were just caps. If they are caps/covers, how do you get them off?

Yes, they are plastic covers that screw onto the lug nuts. Just unscrew them. Use a light touch when putting them back on or they could crack. Oh, and you don't have to take off the center cap to get the wheel off.

They are covers, just unscrew them.

Mine have the grey caps. And some have disappeared. :lurk:
