Default Exhaust and Center caps

I am looking to buy a 1997 lt1 ws6 trans am...Car is in pretty good shape, clean carfax, 113k miles...Couple of questions...It is missing the WS6 centercap on one of the wheels, does anyone know where I could pick one up? I've tried ebay, and a few popular parts websites on here, but no luck...Also, the car appears to be missing an exhaust tip...At first I thought it was the single exhaust common on a few of the early WS6s at that time, but when I bent down to look under the car there was another exhaust exit, but it didn't have a tip. I was thinking of just cutting off the muffler and the tips and just putting a turndown in until I bought a nice catback. If I buy the car, it leaves me no more dough for mods until my winter break this year from college. How loud would it be to drive like that? Would it sound like complete ****? Do I have to worry about the exhaust gas/temps ruining any of the things underneath the car, or is that dependent on where the exhaust dumps? I don't want to drive around ghetto style with one nice exhaust tip and a fucked up one. It's also not worth it to buy two new tips for an exhaust thats going to be changed in 3-4 months.
Thanks...

it will probably be pretty loud although the cat will keep it a little quieter than a cutout right after the headers. i take my car out every once in a while just for fun with the cutouts open ( they are a foot past the manifolds) and its not too bad unless you give it a lot of gas. someone might have a soundclip of a cat only exhaust

it will sound like ****. It will have that popping noise when you rev in up. I had to on my trans am before i put Magnaflow on it. If i were you and waiting for a cat back i would just cut off the other tip and run open muffler. just my .02

Try your stealership. On the tips, why don't you just look for some stock take offs on Ebay. I see some every now and then and they are really cheap.
