just seeing if something someone told me is true. does it matter if the maf sensor is turned 1/4 (where you plug in is up instead of on the right) when your tuning or does it have any other adverse effects?

I know for a fact that some of the import/euro guys have picked up 10 to 15 hp in some cases by rotating the maf. these were on custom forced indution or custom cold air intakes were they had the maf routed differnt due to space. on the dyno the tuner kept rotating the maf untill max hp was reached. it was awesome.
