Default This comp cam look good for my combo?

I know there are a million of these questions floating around but....

Comp XER-281HR-12. Extreme Series cam with the following specs: 232/234 @ .050, .595/.598 112 LSA

I have a LS6 intake on the way & plan on pacesetter long tubes, tsp y-pipe, dual cutouts, yank 3600 & tune. I want this to be very streetable but I want it to make good power & sound good. I don't want a smooth idle.

What do you guys think?

*edit* stock heads & I don't want to flycut.

with a good tune...it should run fantastic

not much different than the torquer v2 or the F14....and those have been proven time and again to be very streetable.

its all in the tune

As long as it can be made to work with a good tune I'm fine with that. I'm currently 2.73 gears but I don't want to go any deeper than 3.42s

Would I be better off going with something a touch smaller? I've been looking at the F13, TR 230/224, TSP 228/230, some vengeance stuff & even the Patriot 226/226.

The comp cam that I mentioned is so cheap is the reason that I thought I could make it work. I don't want to give up a lot of bottom end & I want it to run strong. I'd honestly like something with a 110 or 111 lsa for more torque.

Thanks for the replys.
