Using a 6.0L block for 427CI, Solid Idea or????
I'm starting to look into a project car with the goal of completely reliable weekend driver/occasional coast to coast "Power Tour" runner. Haven't decided on the car yet, probably will end up being a 90 Caprice wagon.
Anyways, I've always kinda liked the way 427 rolls off the tongue and retro replica fender flags are sorta readily available. I thought that I don't really need to worry about light weight so, instead of dealing with sleeves why not punch and stroke a 6.0L truck block and they can be had new through GMPP.
Would the easiest be like using the Lunati stroke kit?
Open to all ideas. Want to stay street, smooth idle, and avoid custom parts.
