Default Question about running duals under axle.

I plan on getting duals in the near future after my header install. I am still unsure of how I want to run the duals, but I am leaning more towards under the axle. Do any of you guys who have this setup regret doing it this way? What is your setup? Post any pics if you have any.

Is it a pain taking it off when you want to put it on a lift? That is really my only concern with running it that way. I am not sure if it would look good to have the mufflers after the axle at an angle and then right off to the tips. It seems like it would be either badass or really ricey.

What size exhaust are you running? can you post any pics?

big motor, no wonder it's so loud, wonder how much quieter it would be on a 346 with a non-donkey cam

I have 2.5" pipes under the axle, and single chamber flowmasters before the rear. There is no problem with puting the car on a lift, nothing has to be taken off. The pipes are bent perfectly so that the rear just barely touches the pipes.

Lowered with strano springs, 3" from collector to exhaust tip. The only part that scrapes is my headers on speed bumps, I haven't bottomed my true duals yet.
