STS F-Bodies in the 10's
I was just reading a thread that got locked that was asking about performance from an STS kit versus .... Well I can tell you that my 99 SS consistently ran high 10's at about 128-129. Stock motor, z06 cam,ls6 intake, 3500 vig, stock 10 bolt with 3.23's, and drag radials. Oh yeah, that was also on a mail order tune. I'm sure there are others doing as well with a stock setup, just not posting. My new sts setup, 370 iron, has only been to the quarter once but managed a best of 10.62 @ 135. I'm sure it's got quite a bit left in it but not sure how many more chances I'll get to push the sts setup before the twins arrive.
Here's a video from about a year and a half ago.

what size turbo are you running? Also where are you shifting? I have 3.42 gears in my car and im having trouble making it down the 1/4 in 3rd gear.. 67 seems to do better with 10psi however. i just raised it and it pulls past 6000 now fine. So ill have to go try that out.

As for gear, I've still got the stock 3.23's. If you have a good converter you can try changing the tranny settings so that the converter will lock in 3rd around 5800 or so. I know that my car really went flat above 6000. This might give you a little more room to play.

What are the details on the 370 build? That sounds familiar!!
I kind of ran out of time and dough to finish the fuel system of all things, so I can only get away with 5 psi for now. But I'm hoping to finish this thing in the next few months. The car was trapping 119 on the stock block, and a really crappy tune, so I'm hoping to be into the 130's at least.
And, I need to learn how to launch this 6 spd a little better too.
