Bmr short torque arm streetability?

Bmr short torque arm streetability? Well I am in a particular situation where I am pretty much stuck running either a short torque arm, or a trans crossmember mounted unit. I was really thinking about the short torque arm BMR manufacturs. The car is going to be a weelend warrior plus daily driver here shortly. But as always (torque arm) it is recommended for track use only. What could be the downside or ill effects or running such a short torque arm on the street? Anyone currently run one on a DD?
