Stereo & Electronics - Aux input adapter question

I am wondering if the GM9-AUX adapter that plugs into the cd changer jack works with the stock monsoon single CD player? I have looked at them and they say that they work except with AM/FM single CD radios. I guess I am just wondering if anybody has this and if it really doesn't work with the CD player. Thanks

I can't tell you how many times this has been discussed - enough that it got into the Monsoon FAQ sticky at the top of the forum (lots of good information, you should have a look).

Briefly, all auxiliary adapters such as the GM9-AUX require that the head unit be capable of controlling an external CD changer. All cassette head units had that capability. Single CD head units didn't get that capability until late in the 99 model year. So, the GM9-AUX works with any cassette system as well as with CD systems in 2000 (late-99) and newer models.
