Default Great new dyno #'s with cam only/true dual lt1

Whats up guys,

Last time I dyno'd, I put down 340rwhp and 345rwtq with my y pipe and sweet thunder setup. The air fuel turned out to be quite lean, which might have been the reason for power loss. I just recently swapped over to 3" true duals with single chamber flowmasters dumped before the axle. That really was the only change since this last dyno.

New results: Temp was the same in the shop as the last dyno... 87°.

Suprisingly I put down 364rwhp and 373rwtq. Man was I pumped up!

Hopefully when I go to the track tonight, I'll be able to cut better than a 2.1 60' because 13.0 @ 108 isnt cuttin it!

Sounds great man, My mods are in the sig. I'd prolly dance around if I saw 360 rwhp out of mine.

cool, i bet you were stoked. one time i was on the dyno and it read 286rwhp and something like 957rwtq. it was much too unrealistic to get me excited though..

I'm headin to the track tonight, and hoping for mid 12's. and yes, those #'s are corrected ... both times.

Now im shootin for the 400rwhp mark ... its just a matter of deciding how I'm gonna get there.

I hope i can put down them kinda numbers with just my cam. The heads i had didn't work out for me, so i'm back to the stockers.

That's pretty good. the 230/236 cam usually makes good numbers with stock heads

That's what i like to hear, i'm running the same cam but with iron heads. A few threads on here and on the impala forum say the iron heads outflow the alum. stock for stock too.

Yes they do outflow the alum by a little, but that doesn't mean you'll make more power with them, since they have more heat issues, which is why the b-bodys run a lower compression.

Nice numbers. When I had that cam with stock heads, I made 342/334 through a th350 and Moser 12 bolt. That cam will perform at the track as well, I went 12.0's with it and a 3640 race weight. Just spin the motor to around 6600 and shift
