Default electric water pump in car slowed down

Hey everyone, (looking for some 1/4 mile feedback) Just swapped in a mezier electric waterpump after my stock pump bearings went south and upon returning to the track last night my car has slowed a little over a tenth. The car is a 1995 z28 stock head stalled a4 car with a 503 cam that up to this point was a consistent 12.1 111mph car, best it would do last night was 12.22 110. I was a little upset because i was expecting a slight drop in et but not so for me. some other things that i noticed last night were that the car felt lazy (timing getting pulled?) it had a new header leak that sounded like a lifter tick and also this morning i found the vacuum hose to my opti was unhooked. im looking into getting a scanmaster to diagnos these things better, but for now, do you guys think my loss is due to the new pump the header leak or the vacuum line? thanks jason

Did you trim your fan housing? If your pump is touching, it could cause false knock. You need to fix the header leak, it will hurt performance. I don't know where your from, but the heat around here right know would kill et's.

You said it felt like timing was getting pulled my money would be on false knock vice the Mez.
