Default LT1 T-56 clutch installed won't disengage

I did a clutch swap today and last week and my clutch is not disengaging. For the life of me, I can't figure out why.

My setup is an LT-1 T-56. I have the SPEC billet steel flywheel. So, I took off the old clutch 2 weeks and took off the flywheel to have it turned. My old clutch was slipping.

- Flywheel turned 0.008" (says the tranny shop guy).
- Replaced roller pilot bearing.
- Replaced Flywheel bolts with Mr. Gasket bolts (from local shop).
- Put on new clutch and torqued new pressure plate in a star pattern. Once I hit 15 ft-lbs, I kept going in a star pattern and kept clicking until the bolts stopped turning with 15 ft-lbs applied.
- The tranny stab went OK, I've done this a dozen times so that's fine.
- Did I torque the pressure plate properly?
- Does anyone know how much can be taken off the SPEC flywheel?

After putting everything back, the clutch doesn't disengage, I haven't seen this before and I have no idea what it could be. Before I drop it again tomorrow, I will see if I can get pedal movement with the spacer removed and just the bolts holding the slave in place. I don't have high hopes for that, as it was working before. Maybe the Mr. Gasket bolt heads are too long and is jamming against the clutch plate?

Any ideas? I really need help.

Thanks MadMike. Yes it's black. I just bled the system with a mighty vac, creating suction and pushing up the slave from the bottom, refilling, and letting out the actuator pushrod.

Then...I saw my firewall is cracked, and when I push in the pedal, it flexes out about 1/4". Grr.

I measured the pushrod, and it's only pushing out 1/4" with the current state. I'll have to find someone to weld it back for me.
