Default Should i get new lifters w/ H/C swap?

Planning on doing an H/C swap this Christmas for my car (important mods are in sig) and i was wonderin' if i was going to need to replace the lifters? The car has got just shy of 70K on the clock so would the stockers be fine? Or is it more than just mileage to worry about?

If i do need them, any suggestions?

I would get some new LS7 lifters. They are inexpensive and supposed to be a little better than the stock LS1 lifters.

They are cheap enough. SDPC has the LS7 lifters for around $100. You are there anyway. You should change them just for insurance.

Before the ls7 lifters were available people would just say that they are fine, but for 100 bucks why not and it is a better design.

If your going to have the heads off anyways...why not? I won't be replacing the stock ones yet because I'm only installing a cam and valvetrain this May. I don't want to take off the heads and replace the gaskets/bolts just to replace the lifters.

I would always recomend replacing them when doing heads. As they are cheap insurance. And you only want to be in there once!
