Question swaping a truck 6.0 in ls1. is it worth it??

the ls1 has 82000 miles on it. im wanting to make it more of just a track car. but still streetable. im putting a 150 shot on it with everything else you can bolt on it.

Sure, why not! More cubes, more power. If you can find an LQ9, then go for it. Although an LQ4 will have the same performance as an LS1 in the same vehicle (more power, but more weight, balances out).

I think you'd be money ahead in putting that money into your LS1.
Depending on what year 6.0 you go with, it could potentially be a lot of work. In addition, I doubt the 6.0's intake will fit under the 4th Gen hood.
