shifter boot ring Plastic ring around bottom of shifter boot has come apart..what adhesive to repair it.?? gm wants 90$ for new...and can't find a good used one..boot is good, plastic ring is the problem....any idea...[not gorilla glue for sure]..

yall may think this is ghetto as hell but..Mine broke a few years back and i just made one out of a wire hanger. I just bent that hoe to fit right and bam!, its been on there since and works great.
