Default Who does a good job porting DART 225's ?

Looking towards the future, I may want to send a set of Dart 225's out to get ported.

So who has these heads figured out?

When I bought them (2 sets) when they first came out, some porters ruined them trying to get big numbers....

Anyone know the latest?

Thx

Depending on the cubic inch of the motor, TEA has some large intake runner CNC'd heads. http://www.totalengineairflow.com/pr...mhead/dartls1/

TEA doesn't sell the Dart's anymore. They are concentrating on the TFS stuff..

I got lucky and Dart ported mine. John told me that mine were really close to what the final CNC version would look like. You may want to give them a call and see if they ever got the program lined out. Here are the flow numbers from the flowsheets supplied by Dart comparing my hand ported heads to the PRC stage 2 ported heads I swapped them out for due to unbelievable oil consumption issues.

PRC ported Stage 2 Darts

Intake...........Corr CFM.......%Exh/Int
.200............146.7
.300............210.6
.400............267.3
.500............302.1
.600............310.3
.700............308.1
Exhaust
.200............103.3............70.4
.300............143.7............68.2
.400............182.2............68.2
.500............207.1............68.5
.600............223.0............71.9
.700............232.3............75.4

Darts with cleanup work performed at Dart (not sure if 205 or 225 ports)

Intake...........Corr CFM.......%Exh/Int
.200............149.3
.300............205.1
.400............261.5
.500............293.2
.600............319.5
.700............334.0
Exhaust
.200............111.7............74.8
.300............153.3............74.7
.400............190.3............72.8
.500............218.0............74.3
.600............228.8............72.5
.700............235.7............70.6

All flow work was performed on a 4 inch bore with radiused inlets and no exhaust port adapter. I don't have flow numbers on what the box stock Darts flow, but I am sure someone on here has flowed a set. If not, call John over at Dart and I am sure he can get you some hard data.

Larry Meaux does a great job, but you will have to wait a while to have them done.
