Hm, I want, I've never seen this thread before..but anyhow, whats the typical lifespan on the pads? I want to be able to use this buffer for compounding as well as waxing the car..as it seems the yellow/orange/blue for compound white/grey for waxing? if not, what would I need to get..I want to order one tonight : ) thanks!

The yellow and orange pads are for compound, swirl cutter etc. The blue pad is for the polish/wax. The pads hold up very well. I wear out the bonnets faster than the pads. Just clean the pads after every use and they will last. The kit comes with all the pads you need. The buffer can be used for both compounding and polishing/waxing.
