Default Take my catt off?

I dunno if you ls1 guys will know or not but i have a v6 firebird with flowmaster exhaust with dual tips which sounds high pitched. If i take my cat converter off will it make it sound deeper/louder?

from what ive learned, cats if anything make the exaust sound deeper and less raspy, taking it will only make it sound higher pitched.

I believe this is correct. You aren't going to get the V8 rumble from your V6
