Default Replace Slave Cylindar?

My stock clutch finally gave out at 70K miles. I got a LS7 clutch kit to replace it. My question is, I have an 02 so it should have the updated hydros. Should I still replace the slave on it? I also talked to a guy the other day here in town, and he was saying that I should still do the drill mod on my car even though it has the updated hydro. Is this true or is he just blowing smoke up the you know where? Thanks guys.

Well it would hurt. Would hate for you to take the Transmission back out because you didnt. I got my LS7 setup on the way here. My stock clutch gave out at 105000 miles. Not bad

What is the "drill mod"? I'm also getting an LS7 clutch kit. What is the purpose of the drill mod?

Replace the slave because they do show significant wear and you are already in there why not. Also do the drill mod, it does help and it is free!

I would only consider the drill mod if I had shifting problems. If it ain't broke...
