Can the LS1 intake bolt onto the 5.3L?

Can the LS1 intake bolt onto the 5.3L? I am pretty new to motors, and doing some research, but my F-ing seach button just goes to a blank screen. I was told that the blocks are the same, does that mean that the LS1 intake can bolt onto the 5.3L motor? Or do I have to swap heads and everything?
