Lifter Issues after I installed MS4

Lifter Issues after I installed MS4 *Please Help* 6 Months ago I installed a MS4 (TSP)in my SS, I changed out the valve springs at the same time.
I babied the car for a week or two and it started ticking pretty bad.
I tore it down and dicovered a lifter had mushroomed, as well as scared up my new MS4.
I had the motor completely freshened up, put in new LS7 lifters and replaced my MS4.
About 2 weeks ago the same thing happened. I mushroomed a lifter in a different place.
What could the problem be?

what lifters are you running with that cam, i have the same cam with ls6 heads and think i ruined a lifter cause there is this aweful tick, did you car do a random misfire when that happend

I am running LS7 lifters, yeah the car misfired a lil, but mostly you could hear a slight tick. I have tore the motor down and it is for sure a lifter, but why are these lifters not holding. I want to know if anyone else has had any problems out of the MS4 or LS7 lifters. This is getting real irritating.

Got some of the same mods. I had a "tick". I got the heads from TSP and it came with the stock ls6 lifters. My tick was the rocker bearings. Ive had the MS4 in for a while with no problems.
