What are the Best Bang for the buck Boltons
I have a 99 Camaro SS.
I have done only the SLP induction lid and filter and changed the rear gears to 373's. The gears really seemed to wake the car up and was thinking about long toubes and a catback exhaust system at the advice of the mechanic who did my rear.
What is the best bang for your buck bolton? What total power output can you expect to see with nothing but boltons on an LS1? (No superchargers)
Any other boltons: underdrive pulleys, aluminum driveshaft, headers, catback, electric water pump, intake manifold

It's an automatic, pacesetters brag 20HP while a Corsa catback also says 14RWHP no getting the car around 400HP with boltons?
Underdrive says aroud 12-14
Meziere waterpump
No way of coaching over 400 out of that car without Cams/Heads? Or super charger?

a Vig 3600 converter and FLT tranny took my car with the only mods being a lid and catback on 2.73's from 13.3's to instant 12.7s in the 1/4 on Mt ET streets. so My vote is stall.

There are many mods that are affordable and can make your car much better in the performance category. Some have already been mentioned, such as gears, stall, tires, suspension, pulleys, ect. As far as HORSEPOWER is concerned, here is a rough breakdown of the “best bang for the buck”, starting with the highest horsepower to dollar ratio:
NOS ~ 100 HP / $500 = 0.2 HP / $
Cutout ~ 10 HP / $60 = 0.17 HP / $
Lid ~ 5 HP / $95 = 0.05 HP / $
LT Headers with ORY Pipe ~ 30 HP / $700 = 0.04 HP / $
Forced Induction ~ 150 HP / $3500 (probably more like 10 grand to do it right) = 0.04 HP / $
Catback ~ 10HP / $300 = 0.03 HP / $
LS6 Intake ~ 15 HP / $450 = 0.03 HP / $
These are only rough estimates obviously, as I am sure that I will get many responses questioning the horsepower numbers I have chosen. Some of the numbers will depend on many factors – especially the forced induction which depends on boost values, intake mods, exhaust mods, and cooling, to name a few. I didn’t mention heads or cams because there are too many varieties and variables to sort though. They can be a very good mod as well if chosen properly. Finally, your bankroll is also important: The NOS may be the best bang for the buck, but if all you have is $95 then the lid becomes the clear winner…

Yes, but not rwhp. All the boltons will prolly get you around 420 hp to the crank.

Not looking much for 1/4 mile times just power and more fun (even if i can't stick it to the ground).
Think i'm going to go with the LS6 intake, underdrive and then LT's and catback in that order.
