Default First trip to the track

So i made my first trip to the track in the ls1 car. Car was trapping decent, its a full bolt on m6 car.

Best run of the night was 12.7 at 111.52, with a 60 foot of 1.8.
Car was on a mt 26 x 17 x 11.5. I still had a hard time getting out of the whole, car liked to spin the tires pretty bad.

Do you guys think the 12.7 at 111 is about correct or is that mph fast enough for a lower 12. I was hoping for a low 12, but it was my first time with the car, only got a couple runs in.

That mph is good for at least a 12.5 . A 1.8 60 is not bad though.

Nice job. Full bolt ons and sticky tires sound about right for your ET. ET could go lower of course, with a little practice. What kinda temps and humidity were you in? Your DA makes it sound like a dream land. Good job on the 60' foot too.

Temp got down to like 64. Humidity was like 65 i think. I looked it all up on accuweather, and used a da calc i found, so im not 100% sure its right, but should be close.

The event i went to was packed. Only got 3 timed runs in, and 2 drag races which were untimed

I need to go to a test and tune where i can get a bunch of runs in, and i think i can breakt a 12.5. Not sure about much faster, but thats about right for the mods the car has.

Thanks, Chris
