Anybody done away with the ABS?

Anybody done away with the ABS? Thought I'd seen someone who was selling a block off plate or something? The Colonels weight reduction lists this as a 9lb savings, but what all can be removed? Any pics, tips, input, etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Shawn

Re: Anybody done away with the ABS? Billingsly does sell a blockoff plate which pretty much makes it an easy bolt-in deal, but you still have all those ugly brake lines to deal with.
I converted to manual brakes (from Madman), and re-made all the brake lines from scratch...

Re: Anybody done away with the ABS? Block off plate appears to work find but wouldn't it be best to tee in the lines and eliminate the ABS block altogether?
