Drag Racing Results - New best in the 300C SRT8 today :)

Great day at the track today. Nice and sunny about 75 degrees out and not too busy (probably 60 or so cars there)

Mods: Drop in K&N filter in the stock airbox and a 185 thermostat.

Saw Arun, Pat and a few other guys there today, it was a nice relaxed atmosphere

Every pass (except one) was a new best today.

First pass hot off the highway

13.21@105 with a 2.06 sixty (New best hot off the highway)

Short cooldown (10 minutes) and a little more aggressive launch

13.12 @ 107 with a 2.01 sixty (NEW Best!)

Let the car cooldown a little longer and went up again (15 minute cooldown)

Tried a harder launch and spun badly

13.29 @107 with a 2.19 sixty

Next run I came out a little softer and ran another good pass

13.13 @ 108.7mph with a 2.02 sixty (backed up the 13.1)

Great day today and lots of fast cars. 07 Z06 with minor tuning by Arun went 11.3 @ 126mph BONE stock. CRAZY fast!

I am hoping that in the fall I'll get a 12.9 or a 13.0 out of this 4300 pound beast

my .02, based on what a friend did to his, k&n cold air, and magnaflow catback, it sounds incredible!!!!! i wish you could hear his car!

Those 300C`s are a sweet ride ,very good looking car and quick. I saw a few of them run 12.9s last winter . Good luck with the car.

A good friend's 300 was running about the same time you were running here in Florida at BMP, on the last pass of the night with about a 20 min cooldown we removed the k&n and he went 13.00 @ 107 on a 2.04 sixty foot. he was only trapping 105 before removing the filter.
