Hi all I just join your forum. Nice to meet you all. One question: Is the club only for UCF students? Because i'm not a student and I live in Apopka. lol. I just got a black 98 Trans Am and I love it! Is in good shape, it needs a good paint detailing and the front bumper repaint (love bugs i hate them!). The interior in pretty good with the exception of a small tear on the lumbar area of the driver's seat and a small hole in one of the rear seats. It needs new visors. It only has 46k miles on it. Engine is in good condition. I'm working on getting the bumper repainted and all the small issues resolved.
I looked at some of the pictures of your rides and they look awesome. That's why I mention those little issues with the car. If any of these things are a no go for joining it's ok no hard feelings. Thanks.

nope, we have students, alum, and just regular people who like cars and are sick of the rice meets that always get broken up. We simple dont tolerate people acting stupid.
There was one kid who felt the urge to do donuts on the top floor. Cops were called 3 squad cars pinned him in the corner with his friend. hasnt been back since.

ya its a fun place, but i dont think its too hard to get in. probly the 2nd toughest school (behind uf). i applied early had plenty of letters, 3.5GPA overall and a 1100sat score. iapplied for summer semester (better odds) and got in in about 2 months. classes arent too tough, but im an education major so im entitled to say that (with a 3.3gpa) if your an engineering major...plan on being in school for 5-6 years on a 4 year degree

Yea, I think UCF is a great school, and it's nice they finally fixed the awful roads that we've all had to endure. I have been a member of the car club for a long time, but unfortunately you'll never see me at the meets unless Speed World gets rained out. I am at Bennigan's afterwards though. Hope to see all the new recruits!
