Can Vortec heads and intake from 96' Van be used on 89' 350, and will engine run with the crank sensor deleted from computer?

I will be using the stock Vortec computer, intake, and harness(16244210), but I want to make sure the engine will run if crank sensor is deleted from computer. My 89' engine has no crank sensor.
