Default LS1 Edit Compatibility Question

I have a friend who has LS1 Edit for his 98 Camaro. He is selling the car and was just going to give me the LS1 Edit software. I have a 01 TA.

So my question is what do I need to do to get this to work on my car? I know that the software is set up for his vin#.

How do I get this to work and how much will it cost me?

You'd really need to contact carputing about final cost, Im pretty sure you'd need to send the hardware to them to add your vin...it'll probably run you about $150 when its all said & done to add your vehicle.

It will cost upwards of $200-250 after it's all said and done. Call or email carputing to find out the total.

It may be cheaper or better just to get a version of EFIlive.
