Default 3x3 to 3.5 out Y pipe users...

If you have LT's on your 346 except for SLP's with a 3x3-3.5 or 4' outlet Y pipe, please post up your dyno numbers. I am considering changing my 2.5x2.5-3 Y and would like to see what numbers could be had with a larger pipes.

TIA!
Joe.

I had one custom done with a 3x3 to 3 1/2 collector. We extended the 3-1/2" section about 14" and then taper back down to a 3" into the muffler. I never dynoed the difference, but I did pick up a tenth or two as compared to the original Grot Y with the Carsound cats.

Joe,

Mine's in the shop now getting 3" Y pipe into a 3-1/2" I-pipe out the back to dual 3-1/2" tips.

We'll dyno it in a few weeks when I drive back out!

That is soooo weird. I have a Whisper lid and Borla on my M6 Z28 too and I was thinking of going QTP's > Mufflex... but I want a TSP lid first.

Joe we dynoed before/after on my car switching from a stock FLP y-pipe to a custom 3" FLP y-pipe with 3.5" FM collector. This is when I had the tr224 and local ported stock CR heads.

2.5" vs 3" with FM collector dyno
