favorite wideband?
Bunch of widebands on the market these days. Whats eveyones favorite and why. NGK makes one and AEM and PLX along with all the Innovative stuff, but the Innovative stuff is more expensive. NGK is a trusted automotive name and PLX is a good deal. Lets hear it. I need to buy one.

don't get a PLX...
http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12388
I wasted money on one just to find out they are inaccurate from 13.5 and up AFR's.. below 13.5 afr the PLX is fine though so WOT tuning would still be OK but don't plan on simming the NB the PLX because it of the way it reads much leaner than it should and will throw off the trims. Literally the PLX will read 15.6 afr when the car is actually at stoich 14.7 and PLX has no way to calibrate it. If you read that thread there were lots of theories from claiming that mods throw off the car to location of the WB to grounds but in the end no answer was found.. its just off by a lot at stoich.
I swapped the PLX for an LC1 and the LC1 read correctly and is no problem to sim the NB and can be re-calibrated as needed once a year or more as it should as well.

I have an AEM, It reads exactly what the wideband used for the tune on the mustang dyno read. I like it so far. It's been in a few weeks. I got the gauge by it's self when I bought my NO2 kit. I spend about $100 for the wiring harnesses and the widebank O2 sensor. So far so good.

I have the AEM, its a nice unit, works well so far but it doesnt go full spectrum like the others. It maxes somewhere around 16.
The PLX is a nice unit. Works well and major piece, its reliable. Too many bad stories about Innovative for me. Zeitronix makes another really nice unit, but honestly is catered more towards the boosted applications.
