Question Getting heads and cam... what else?

After I save up some more money I will probably be buying a H/C package. I know my motor will make over 400rwhp with this, but can anything else be done at the same time while the motor is apart? I haven't decided on which heads or cam yet but I will also be putting in an LS6 intake as well. Nitrous is unlikely but possible down the road. anything to prepare for that?
