Default How much life is left on this clutch?

As the title says, how much is left. I've never seen one new, so I don't know how worn this is. It was only in the car for about 4 months, 700 miles, about 25 track passes. I want to sell it, but not if there's nothing left to sell.

Although pictures are worth a thousand words they can't really do much justice to indicating the life left in a clutch kit! The wear patter on the flywheel looks good but can you mic the thickness of the disc. Also, some shots of the plate would be great too. Thanks

I'll see what I can do when I get home. If it is "too" worn, is there any way I can have new pads put on the star? The plate side of the clutch is fine too. It has no ridges or gouges or uneven wear patterns. Its just the amount of pad I'm worried about, but like I said, I've never seen a new one.

Yes, you could have the disc repadded if you like too. Let me know what you find and I will be happy to help you with more info. Thanks!

A couple more pics.... The closest measurement I can get is about 3mm left of pad all the way around.

Are you pinching the entire disc thickness? You need to clamp the disc between the mic and measure it that way. 3mm is thin but I am sure that you are just measuring one half of the total thickness. Let me know. Thanks!

I don't have a mic or dial caliper. That measurement was taken with a ruler...and yes, it was just the thickness of one pad.

The starting thickness for that disc is .310. This equates to 7.874mm for total thickness when new. We suggest repading or replacing a disc when it has wear of .020 to .025. That being said, assuming that you provided an accurate measurement then you should be fine. No worries. Let me know if you need anything else! Thanks!!
