Default Cats or no Cats

I have the LM II Catback and going to out some PS header's in. Question is should i get the Y pipe with Cats or ORY? I want to keep the sound it has already has. Is there a big difference in power between in no cats and high flow cats?

Search button not working for me atm....

high flow cats will loose maybe 5hp tops, and will help quiet it down some and keep out a lot of rasp. If you want all opwer, go ORY, but if youre going for sound go with a catted Y

do you have emisssion inspections where you live...that plays a huge role in what you want to do...might also effect if you can get LT's or not

the TSP catted y WILL NOT be a direct fit. I suggest you buy 2 high flow magnaflow cats and have a shop fab you up a Y pipe, asnd if possible, get a flowmaster merge

With the LM II you will definitely want cats. Even with cats, my GMMG still had some rasp. I had to add a powerpack resonator to clear it all up.

I thought the TSP Y was a direct fit thats why they sell it in a set. hmmm so custom Y is the best way to go?

I would go with the cats with the LM2 cuz that setup will be nasty loud and raspy without, and the spun cats would be a good idea as tainted pointed out but you might be able to get away with the TSP setup because it "is" suppose to fit the PS headers...

The TSP catted Y was a direct fit for me on PS LT's to hooker cat-back, sliped right over the collectors the first time I tried

anyone else had problems fitting the tsp y with the PS LT's? If its too much, rasp does matter where i add the resonator before or after the LM muffer?
