Hello from Ohio, just got my camaro Hi guys
I first found the site here when the 09 was leaked. Found a thread with all sorts of pics since it really peaked my interest. I've been a camaro fan since 1996 when I first really found out what they were. I was only 9 then, I'm 20 now. Currently going into my 3rd year of college, studying electronic engineering technology. Yeah an electronics guy and I like real cars too

Well I finally got myself a camaro so I thought I'd register here. Already I found some info in the electronics section helpful, I was trying to figure out what all the wires were for the HU and speakers since I'm swapping things out. The previous owner of the car blew some speakers and the stock sounds like crap anyway - I'm not a pro audio nut by any means, but I'd like some clear sound and the ability to hit some lows without buzzing rattling!
I'll be asking a few questions in some other sections probably later, I got my 98 camaro for pretty cheap because well first it is a V6 with auto (please don't shoot me!) and also it needs some work: brakes, tires, some minor fender damage in the front driver's side, AC clutch is making noise, plus a few other random small things. The damage is the reason for the bra on it, it hides most of it. Once that is fixed that bra is coming off, I don't really like those things much.
So that is a brief intro to me and my car. My car is in my avatar, once some nicer weather comes through I'll get some nicer pics with my real camera, my cell phone on a cloudy day doesn't do it justice.
