All you camaro guys
I made a nother post about needing help with my gauge bezel but now I have a new Q.
For those of you who have removed your bezel I would like to know what it looks like?
Is it just a clear lenswith an open back, for mine is not.
this is what mine looks like.....TA gauge Trim attached to Clear Lens....

I ask this because if yours are just the Lens and then you BUY the TA Trim seperate then I think I'll have to go that route as aposed to prying mine apart.

Hmmmmmm.... I didn't know the Firebird ones were attached like that. Looks like it is part of the entire unit. Is it?
I know for those who purchase the TA bezel from Specmo, it is just a piece we put in there. Yours looks molded. I believe you were trying to paint it?
For taking off the glass, I would say try putting it in the oven, but I don't know what the heat tolerances are of that cluster.

Yea its unfortunate its one big molded peice.
I've tried the oven gig but the tabs started warpping....I then took it to the hobby shop and tried the heat gun but found it too was too hot ........
If anyone has the part # and ordering number for a Camaro Lens and the info for ?? SPECMO ??? and there TA bezel that would be kind..

the one I got from macewen was the same, I also had some ideas about painting mine but didnt hassle with trying to remove it, it looked useless without damaging it.
