Car wont fire, any suggestions???
Allright, i thought it might be bad fuel, i ran it all out and added 5 gallons of fresh 93 octane. It still wont fire, i have no coolant in the motor, i wanted to make sure i didnt put it all together and this happen.
1) It is getting fire
2) It has fuel(new pump and filter)
I tested the fire and it is good, i tested the injector pulse and it stays on with a tiny drop in a pulse, is this supposed to happen??? I thought it should get a pulse, not stay hot then drop a bit.
I am stumped, i have all the electrical hooked up, thanks for any help guys, if i didnt just drop so much into a valve job, port and polish, gaskets and new head bolts i would abandone all hope and put a gen 1 in the damn thing with a carb and be done with it.

Also, i removed everything to replace the head gaskets, i am positive i put everything back, i even pulled the opti apart and cleaned it, the bolts were falling out of it, i re assembled it but i did crack the rotor with the bolts but i didnt think it would matter.

Are you sure that your coolant temp sensor in your water pump is plugged in? Having that unplugged will keep the car from starting. You said you did not have coolant in the engine. Is the water pump on the engine, because it is easy to forget about that sensor if the pump is not there. Then there is the standard problem of getting the opti seated wrong. It is possible to do and you will have spark but it will be way out of time.

Ok, well i did not have the coolant temp sensor in before, but i plugged it in earlier and still nothing, the WP is on the car, if the OPTI was not seated right then it would still pop out the intake/exhaust still right? I thought the 95 couldnt be installed wrong on the opti?

Yes and Yes it can as I have done it before (mine is a '95 set up).
When you put the opti back on and were putting the bolts in was the mounting bracket flush up against the boss on the timing cover or was there a little gap that you had to use the bolts to close? The opti should it sit flush up against the bosses if installed right.

sounds like a fuel issue even more , after you said that. could be no signal from the opti, ect sensor, poor fuel pressure ect..ect. don't feel bad mine is up and running with some weird tuning issues.
