Default cam install questions

After finding a bad/flattened lifter and the subsequent damaged cam lobe my hopes for a simple head gasket swap quickly died. Should I replace all my comp lifters, or just replace the damaged one? With ~80,000 miles on the lifters I figured it might be a better idea to swap in a set of LS7 lifters(would this be considered a downgrade?).

Thanks for any help...

why not install the caddy race lifters? (all of them).
LS7 lifters are now the standard replacement.
Are you checking or changing the valve springs?

Trying to stick to a budget on this install. Yes, I am changing the valve springs. I actually purchased them before I found out the cam was toast.

i have comp cams replacment lifters for sale, there not LS7's but there also not built as a standard gm replacment part. I bought em cuz my dad told me when i do this job i could just take off the intake and change em, but, that doesnt work with an ls1 only the gen 1 and 2 blocks
