Only problem is i have a 98 and the maf is for an 00-02??? Any problems this may cause??? I know aftermarket maf's are supposedly bad, but i would like to pick up one to tweak with a diablo tuner. If it runs like crap, i could always put the stocker back on. Anyone tried this before? Are the 98-00 that much different from 00-02? I suspect this may be the reason so many people have issues with the slp maf?

dont do it man. just descreen your stocker and let it be, stay away from the diablo if you can as well and get hptuners or get it dyno tuned.

^what he said. I wouldn't even descreen the stocker. The only mod you listed worth doing is the smooth bellow

Thanks for the advice. I like to tweak just to try and squeeze every bit of hp. I will put the stocker back on if everything goes to crap.

I would not touch the maf unless you've got mods and plan on a dyno tune. I've heard so many times of the car running like crap and going back to the stock unit.

your not gonna gain anything unless your 450+rwhp the stock is not a restriction...and the bellow is a appearance mod

I wouldn't bother with either of those mods. They are more of a pain in the *** than any benefit you would get.
